Review: Maybelline Hyper Curl Mascara

If a girl does not enjoy putting on makeup, but wants to look a little bit more put together she bound to put on mascara because fuller and longer lashes emphasizes the eyes and make you look more awake and fresh. And I have tried tons, I mean tons of mascara and I've had some hits and misses.

I'd like to let you know that my lashes are not hard to curl and quite long, so what works for me may not work as well on you, I've had clients and friends whose lashes are short really difficult to curl , so I do use fake lashes for them. I have used Maybelline's Hyper Curl Mascara for a long time, and I have repurchased it about 4 times now.

Its costs Php.250.00 ($ 5.99)

Here are before and after shots:

BEFORE:
My lashes are not curled and I didn't apply mascara.

AFTER:
This time I curled my lashes and used Maybelline's Hyper Curl Mascara on my top and bottom lashes. You can see that my eyes look more awake, and DANG do my lashes look longer.HAHA

CONS:
- Dries up faster compared to other mascaras

PROS:
- Gives vloume
-Lengthens
-Waterproof (I prefer waterproof mascaras)
-Cheaper than other mascaras here in the Philippines

I love this product to pieces and even if I tried lots of other brands I still end up buying this over and over again. Have an awesome day everyone and thank you for reading  :D

With much love,

Review: Shawill Eyeliner

A thin line of eyeliner is always part of my everyday makeup look to define my eyes,
and its very difficult for me to find a great liner with out having to pay an arm and a leg. So I was on a hunt for a new liner that would last all day, waterproof and affordable. And luckily I found Shawill's Eyeliner in Watsons at SM City Cebu.

PRICE: Php. 128.00 ($ 3.07)

The packaging says its:
- Waterproof
-Long Lasting
-Quick Dry

CONS:
-It can get difficult to twist the top off
- Because its long lasting and waterproof, it takes time to really get it off the lids

PROS:
 -Affordable, only Php. 128
-Waterproof, after sweating in PE class it stays on
-Long lasting, leaving home and coming back it stays on
 - Smudge proof, I scratch my eyes several times a day and it doesn't smudge..

So far, I'm enjoying this eyeliner and the cons dont really bother me. So if you can get your hands
on this liner I recommend that you try it out..

Have a wonderful day everyone!

With much love,
Steph-G

Hannah's Predebut Make Over

I absolutely love doing other girls hair and makeup, I enjoy enhancing their features and make them look
even more beautiful. I did the hair and makeup on  my very close friend Hannah for her predebut photos,
these were taken a few moths back and I decided to share them here, better late than never, right?
She's a gorgeous girl to begin with so its easy to make her look stunning.

Here are a few photos of her.

I  wanted to do a neutral look on her, so I used neutral colors on her lids and
a soft pink lip. With big bouncy curls.

Hannah is wearing the gown I used during my high school prom.
I used purple and violet eyeshadow and straightened her very long hair,
with a bump on the crown of her head.

I hope you liked how the hair and makeup turned out, I have much more to learn
and I'm excited to develop more techniques to make the looks I create more beautiful,
and most of all to make girls feel and see the amazing beauty in each one of them..

Take care everyone, and have a wonderful day!

With much love,
Steph-G

Dual Colored Nails with step-by-step guide!

I'm awful at naming these nail designs so I apologize for the title, I'm sure you can come up with a better name than I did :D This is the design I have been doing on my nails recently, and I thought I'd share how I achieved this design. It does take more time to do but still quite easy to do..

It has some little damages because I took this picture days after I did the design.

So lets get to the step-by-step guide!

STEP 1 - I painted my nail with OMG's "Mojito" polish.

STEP 2- Dampen sponge with water, you can just dip it into water if you do not have a spray
bottle, just make sure to remove excess water.

STEP 3 - Paint the second color on the wet area of the sponge.

STEP 4 - Stipple the second color with sponge on the bottom part of your nail.
Then place glitter polish on the second color, which I forgot to take a photo of.

This is what the finish design looks like :D

This is another design using the same technique,
I just used pink as my second color and added bigger glitters.

I hope you find the guide helpful, and thank you so much for reading this post.
take care everyone! Have a lovely day :D

With much love,
Steph-G
