Dual Colored Nails with step-by-step guide!

I'm awful at naming these nail designs so I apologize for the title, I'm sure you can come up with a better name than I did :D This is the design I have been doing on my nails recently, and I thought I'd share how I achieved this design. It does take more time to do but still quite easy to do..

It has some little damages because I took this picture days after I did the design.

So lets get to the step-by-step guide!

STEP 1 - I painted my nail with OMG's "Mojito" polish.

STEP 2- Dampen sponge with water, you can just dip it into water if you do not have a spray
bottle, just make sure to remove excess water.

STEP 3 - Paint the second color on the wet area of the sponge.

STEP 4 - Stipple the second color with sponge on the bottom part of your nail.
Then place glitter polish on the second color, which I forgot to take a photo of.

This is what the finish design looks like :D

This is another design using the same technique,
I just used pink as my second color and added bigger glitters.

I hope you find the guide helpful, and thank you so much for reading this post.
take care everyone! Have a lovely day :D

With much love,
Steph-G

  1. I tried something similar last week, but hadn't thought about the sponge, that's a good tip because my nails were very messy when I did it with the brush. Thanks!
