San Remegio is know for its beautiful beaches and fresh seafood which is why it is a popular choice for tourist to visit here in Cebu. And if you are planning to stay or visit San Remigio the new place Mar Azul and Restaurant is definitely worth the try. We were staying at a resort 30 minutes away form Mar Azul so it was the perfect time to see what all the buzz was about. We did try to text the restaurant to get a reservation for lunch but they did not reply, so we tried our luck anyways and thankfully when we got there around 2pm there was a seat available. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos but I will do my best to improve future posts.
As you can see the facade of the restaurant is very inviting.

This is what you get for the Php 399 option. You can just ask the staff for refills on the dish you want. There is no sharing allowed so if your having this meals with someone most likely they would have to order their own set as well or order ala carte.

What I liked about Mar Azul:
- affordable
- delicious fresh seafood
- beautiful view
- friendly staff, and they were all wearing masks
- clean
What I didn't like so much:
- you pay the same price even if some dishes are not available
- flies hover over the food, but it is expected especially when eating seafood
Location: 8 Mabini St, Poblacion, San Remigio, Northern Cebu — approx. 2.5-3 hours away from Cebu City.
Mar Azul offers both great food and ambiance plus very budget friendly. You get so much for your money so make sure to wear comfortable clothes especially around the belly area (Haha). I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting San Remegio to enjoy what Mar Azul Restaurant and Bar has to offer.
