DIY: Brush Guard

Brush Guards for me are very important,I use these after I have cleaned my brushes because they keep the shape of the brushes while they dry and keeps them from dust. There are brush guards available in the market and you can get them from Dollface Cosmetics CLICK HERE.

But if you wanna save your money and you dont mind doing a little work I can show you how made my own brush guards.

I used two of the same exact brushes in this photo. As you can see, the hair on brush that had the brush guard on while drying are more compact and is more dense than that of the brush that didn't have the brush guard on.

Here's the step-by-step guide:

You will need:
- Anti slip mat (some place mats look like this) Php. 88.00 at Daiso
- Scissors
- Thread and Needle

1) Lay the brush on top of the mat to see how long you want the brush guard to be.

Step 2
2) Cut out the desired width of the brush guard,
and wrap it around the brush to see the length of mat you have to use.

Step 3
3) Cut the final piece that you will use.

Step 4
4) Make sure its not too tight or loose, so the brush can easily slip in and out.

Step 5
5) Sew the ends together to create its cylindrical shape.

And its done!!
These will really help your brushes maintain its shape, and the water can still evaporate because the anti slip mat has small whole on it.

I hope this has helped and gave you and idea on how to take care of your brushes :D
Thank you so much for reading!
Have a wonderful day!
Take care!

Nail Polishness!

Today I wanna show you the nail designs I have on my nails, and on my friends nails when they came to my house to just hang out. Being with my friends is lots for me especially when nail polishes are involved :D

Designs on my nails:
As you can see i have glitter on my nails on almost all of the designs I come up with :D

On Astrid's Nails
She wanted Strawberry nails, I tried my best achieving the design because she has short nails so there's limited space to work on. I'm glad that she loved it in the end.

On Marielle's Nails
Marielle has strong and long nails (I wish my nails were like hers)
She seldom has color on her nails let alone nail art, so I went all out with the glitter.
I did this design on my own nails before as well, but it looks way better on her long nails.
If you wanna know how to achieve this design click HERE.

Thank you all for visiting my blog!
Have a wonderful day, and take care !

Japonesque Brush and Tool Apron

I'm super excited for this new purchase  because I know I'd get a lot of use of it and I have been wanting one of these ever since I wanted to become a makeup artist, but it took me a long time to finally have one because its hard to find and it can get really expensive.

Brush belts can really help me out when I do clients makeup because I dont have to constantly reach into my brush roll to get the brush I need, since it will be attached to my body I can easily reach for brushes and other products and place them back into the belt. I used to always stick brushes into my pockets before but now, No More!

I got this Japonesque Brush & Tool Apron in Beauty Bar here in Cebu, Philippines, I'm telling you that store is makeup heaven but does evil things to your wallet.

Front Part

Back Part

Multiple pockets, pouches and hooks keeps brushes
and beauty tools organized and accessible. The
convenient and streamlined design includes mesh pockets

optimal comfort.

Price: Php. 1,800.00 ($ 43.44)

I know its quiet expensive, but ts made with really durable material so I know it will it would serve me for years, and I will really do my best to take care of this. Thank you so much for reading, and have a wonderful day!
